Sent off - Jason Demetriou was red carded for Southend United against Torquay on Sunday
SOUTHEND United defender Jason Demetriou has been handed a three match suspension following his red card against Torquay United on Sunday.
Demetriou was dismissed for a poor challenge on the Gulls’ Ben Wynter.
And a post on the Football Association website has confirmed the 34-year-old will miss the first three games of next season.
