FORMER Southend United loanee Matt Dennis has joined MK Dons for an undisclosed fee.
Dennis scored eight goals in 30 appearances while with the Shrimpers from Norwich City last season.
But the 20-year-old has now signed for the League One Dons.
“I can’t wait to get started,” Dennis told the MK Dons website.
“I’ve spoken to the manager and he told me this is an opportunity for me.
"I’ll be looking to learn as much as I can from him and the other players here."
Blues had been keen to sign Dennis on a permanent basis during his loan spell but it is understood that interest waned towards the end of last season.
However, Dennis remained a popular figure with the supporters and an Echosport poll revealed 63 per cent of fans were keen for him to remain at Roots Hall.
