RYAN Peniston has been beaten in the quarter-finals of the Rothesay International at Eastbourne, losing to fellow Brit Jack Draper in straight sets.

Peniston, who is from Great Wakering, set up the last eight clash after finishing off a hard fought win against Pedro Martinez this morning.

But he was unable to make it back to back wins as the powerful Draper won both sets 6-3 to advance into the semi-finals.
