HARRY SEADEN is aiming for promotion with his new club Billericay Town.

The goalkeeper joined the club last week after spending time on trials with Swansea City, Derby County and Gillingham following his exit from Southend United.

Now at Billericay, Seaden is hopeful the club can has a successful season and get out of the in the Vanarama National League South.

He told the Echo: "The aim is to get promotion and have a good season. Obviously to get promotion will take a lot throughout the season, it is going to be a long old slog.

"We will get there. Once we start pre-season and get the games under our belts we will just go from there.

Seaden was one of five players that have joined the club this summer and he believes that they will form a good team during pre-season.

"I know a few of the lads. It will be a good season, obviously pre-season is there for us to gel as a team and get together, which is the whole point of pre-season and to get as fit as possible before the season starts.

"We will try and win as many games as possible and work hard. That is all we can do. My job is just to keep the ball out of the back of the net."
