RYAN Peniston will have to wait a bit longer to make his first round debut in the singles at Wimbledon.

The Great Wakering based 26-year-old had been due to take on Henri Laaksonen at SW19 this afternoon.

But the wet weather combined with a mammoth five set match between Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Hubert Hurkacz meant Peniston’s match will not take place on Monday.

The clash will now take place on court 12 on Tuesday, starting at 11am
