Missing out - Southend United boss Kevin Maher
SOUTHEND United have missed out on signing midfielder Omar Mussa from Weymouth.
The Shrimpers had been tracking the 21-year-old since midway through last season and held transfer talks with the midfielder last week.
However, those discussions broke down after the terms of the deal could not be agreed and Mussa has now signed for Dagenham & Redbridge.
