New club - former Blues defender Leon Davies has joined Braintree Town
FORMER Southend United defender Leon Davies has joined Braintree Town.
Davies joined Blues back in January and made 16 appearances before being released at the end of last season.
However, the 22-year-old will be staying in Essex after signing for the Iron who play in National League South.
Davies becomes the third ex Southend player to join Braintree this summer as he follows in the foot-steps of John White and Matt Rush.
