JESSICA Judd will run in the 10,000m final at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon tonight.

The 27-year-old, from Canvey Island, made sure of her place in the Great Britain squad by winning the women’s race at the Night of 10,000m PBs back in May.

Judd, a former Castle View School pupil, finished 17th in the Olympic final last year.

Tonight’s run will be Judd’s third appearance in the World Championships having previously raced in Doha in 2019 and London in 2017.

Judd will also run in the 5,000m in Oregon later this week.
