SOUTHEND United boss Kevin Maher is still keen to add to his squad.
The Shrimpers kick off their National League campaign at home to Boreham Wood this weekend.
But Maher remains eager to bolster his options.
“Ideally I would like to bring in one or two more,” said the Blues boss.
“I think there are still a couple of areas it would be good to strengthen and that’s what we will be looking to do.”
The Shrimpers completed the loan signing of Wrexham striker Jake Hyde earlier this week.
But, with Sam Dalby having moved in the opposition direction, Blues are believed to still be looking at bolstering their attacking options and could bring in another loan sgning.
