SAM Dalby has thanked Southend United after completing a lucrative move to Wrexham.

The 22-year-old striker joined the National League favourites earlier this week.

And he has now taken to Instagram to express his gratitude to the Shrimpers.

Dalby wrote: “I want to say a big thank you to Southend and to everyone connected to the club over the past year.

“There’s been some ups and downs along the way but I’ve loved it here and I’m thankful for the opportunity to play with and under some amazing staff and players.

“I will never forget the incredible home and away support.

“I wish the club all the best for the future.”

Dalby scored 10 goals in 47 games for Blues who he joined last summer.
