SOUTHEND United midfielder Harry Taylor has been ruled out for at least six weeks with a knee injury.
Taylor suffered the injury late on against Boreham Wood on his Blues debut.
And Blues boss Kevin Maher will now be without the 25-year-old until at least the beginning of October.
"He’s going to be six weeks minimum," confirmed Maher.
"It’s his medial ligament.
"He’s not someone who is usually injured and it just seems to be our luck at the minute.
"The injuries are to important players too but give credit to those who played today."
