Joe Stevens picked up two wins when he fought David Jones in London.
The 14-year-old Laindon fighter defeated Jones, who boxes for the Apex club, by a unanimous verdict in the three-round bout.
And he was also named as the best stylist on the night following his points win.
Stevens, of Riverview Close, is trained by CJ Hussein and Ray Bull at the St Pancras club in Camden, London, following his switch from Langdon Hills-based Berry Boys ABC.
"Joe is extremely talented which has led to London ABA keeping an eye on him with a view to picking him for the schoolboys championships," said Hussein.
