BILLERICAY Town's New Lodge ground will tonight play host to what is being extravagantly claimed will be "the best under-13s girls' match to be played in this country this season"

Writtle Minors, the Essex League champions for the third consecutive year and unbeaten since they set out as under-10s, take on Weetabix League winners Cambridge City, who have an equally impressive record.

The 2008 Cooper Cup final encounter kicks-off at 7pm and admission is free and the Writtle side contains players from Basildon, Wickford and Billericay.

Those attending will get the chance to see players on the books of a variety of top women's clubs such as Arsenal, Colchester, Cambridge United, Leyton Orient and Charlton in action.
