MORE than 700 runners completed the Southend 10k this morning.
City of Southend AC runner Shane Boxall was the first to finish as he crossed the line in an impressive 32 minutes, 37 seconds.
Taite Wallis (32:44) took second with Peter Bracken (33:13) third.
Lauren Reed, from Havering AC, was the first female finisher as she completed the course in 35 minutes, 50 seconds.
Laura Thomas (37:41) was second with Southend’s Rebecca O’Kill (39:07) third.
Toby Jones won the 3k race in a time of nine minutes, 50 seconds while Jessica Walker was the first female with a time of 11 minutes.
