SOUTHEND United boss Kevin Maher is looking to resolve the Shrimpers goalkeeping issues ahead of Saturday's trip to Wealdstone.
With Steve Arnold sidelined with a back injury, Collin Andeng Ndi has been the only option between the sticks for Blues since mid-August.
And, despite the youngster playing well, Maher hinted he could look to bolster his options as Arnold continues to struggle with his fitness.
"Steve is still struggling and he hasn't been able to train," said Maher.
"It's still ongoing and it's something we're trying to get to the bottom of.
"He's had a scan which hasn't proved too conclusive in terms of any structural damage but he's missed a lot of training now.
"It's something we're going to keep going with and hopefully it's one we can find a solution too.
"But the goalkeeping situation is one we're trying to resolve."
Andeng Ndi kept a clean sheet against Wrexham last time out and has started Blues' last six games.
