SOUTHEND United fans have their say on Saturday's 1-0 win at Wealdstone.
Noor Husin is the best around.
@liamo240
Solid and workmanlike. A 0-0 game that we managed to pinch. A result and a bit of a break that we’ve deserved for a few weeks. Defence really beginning to look formidable and, as the fixtures ease up, hopefully a chance for us to build up a head of steam
@samgoody23
Impressive at the back and all round looking stronger. We will start to score more in games soon and hoping this sets us off on a winning run. Scott-Morris, Dackers and Ralph were excellent today against a decent Wealdstone side.
@shrimpersaway
Couldn’t see a lot from where I was standing but thought Lopata & Husin looked good. Solid at the back. Glad for three points and lovely to see Stan.
@clarebear62_b
Very good performance and felt like an important win! Fantastic away support from the fans. Let’s hope some momentum can now follow
@MPato_1987
I said last week that the next seven or eight games will define our season in my opinion. If we can get a winning run going then the play-offs could be a possibility this season, so today was a good start. We deserved that result after being robbed of three points last week!
@Lee12731925
Dug deep to win today. Dackers was excellent and a real team player. Miley's work rate is superb but they all put in a shift. Like everyone else is saying, we really need to convert all these chances. Onwards.
@TrenamanMartin
Ground out a horrible win, will take that all day
@scottycav13
Another solid performance and a well deserved win. The sending off was the only blot on an otherwise excellent afternoon but the reaction to it in successfully seeing out the game was first class. Could this be the turning point of our season?
@djmikejolly
A hardworking performance. Could have been more comfortable but great to get a win and another clean sheet. Look so much stronger with Ralph and Husin back in the side.
@dan_mays86
About time we actually got three points from a game. Great penalty and at the back our defence was good before Lopata returned to us, but he’s made it even better.But until we can resolve our lack of goals it will be a hard slog, but when we do,we’ll climb up the table rapidly.
@tommyharris57
Very hard working performance. Everyone contributed. Contained Wealdstone really well. Be great to see us go on a winning run now.
@SpindloeRobert
Is this a real turning point? Maybe but great opportunity to get up the table with two home games up next.
@SimonGDodd
Solid performance after a slow start. Wealdstone didn’t really threaten until injury time. Cant help thinking that Powell would have shredded their defence. Collin excellent again. A very welcome three points.
@Raycrud
Very solid performance. Hobson was excellent. A deserved three points and Collin was never really troubled. Hopefully this will kick start the season
