Back in training - Southend United striker
SOUTHEND United striker Rhys Murphy is back in training today.
Murphy has been out since injuring his knee against Yeovil Town in January.
But Blues boss Kevin Maher confirmed the forward is starting to edge nearer a return.
"Rhys is back training today on the grass but because he’s been out for so long we’re trying to build him up as much as we can," said Maher.
"When he does come back we want him with us fully.
"He’s progressing and he’s been doing some training with us.
"He will be training with us today."
