THE Football Association are still investigating the closing stages of Southend United’s match with Woking earlier this month.

The two teams clashed in the dying minutes of the National League match at Roots Hall and a heated melee ensued which led to four yellow cards being issued.

A Shrimpers supporter also appeared to throw a punch towards a Woking player while the visitors also alleged a racist comment was made by another Blues fan during a separate incident after the game.

No punishment has yet to be issued but Echosport has been informed the matter remains ongoing at the FA.
