SOUTHEND United head coach Kevin Maher was blown away by the level of support for his side at Barnet tonight.
With 1,446 travelling fans roaring them on, Blues had more supporters than the Bees at the Hive.
And Maher had huge praise for the club’s supporters.
“They were unbelievable again,” said Maher.
“At the end you take a step back and listen and just think wow.
“It’s unbelievable for this level of the game to hear the noise they make.
“The club is lucky to have a group of players that go to the depths they do and we’re lucky to have a group of fans who support us like they do.”
Blues won 3-0 against Barnet thanks to goals from Kacper Lopata, Callum Powell and Jack Bridge.
The Shrimpers now sit sixth in the National League standings.
