SOUTHEND United have been charged by the Football Association following a late melee in their match with Woking last month.
The heated exchange saw four yellow cards shown by referee Jason Richardson.
But the FA have now decided to take things a step further.
A post on their website confirmed: “It is alleged that in or around the 92nd minute of the fixture, Southend United failed to ensure that its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour.”
Exactly the same sentence has been posted regarding the behaviour of Woking’s players.
