BILLERICAY Town and Concord Rangers were both knocked out of the FA Trophy at the second round stage on Saturday.
Billericay lost 3-1 to Bath City at New Lodge while Concord were beaten 4-2 by Harrow Borough at the Aspect Arena.
In the Isthmian Premier League, there was a stunning win for Bowers & Pitsea who saw off high-flying Aveley 2-1 at the Len Salmon Stadium.
The victory moved Bowers up to 19th in the table.
Elsewhere, sixth placed Canvey Island drew 1-1 with Carshalton who are immediately below them in the table.
In Isthmian North, Hashtag United moved third in the table with a 3-2 win at Grays Athletic while 10th placed East Thurrock United won 4-2 at bottom of the table Coggeshall Town.
Great Wakering Rovers - who parted company with boss Iain O'Connell on Friday - lost 2-1 at home to Bury Town to drop to 14th in the table.
Hullbridge Sports are 16th after losing 2-1 at home to Felixstowe & Walton but there was joy for Basildon United who won 2-1 at Witham Town to go 13th.
In the Essex Senior League, bottom of the table Southend Manor lost 4-2 at Redbridge while White Ensign, who are 17th, drew 2-2 at Saffron Walden Town.
