SOUTHEND United striker Callum Powell is ‘touch and go’ for Saturday’s match at Aldershot Town.

Powell was taken off with a knee problem during the 3-1 defeat at Gateshead last time out.

And Blues boss Kevin Maher is still unsure whether or not the forward will be fit enough to feature against Shots.

“He will be touch and go,” said Maher.

“He’s strained his medial ligaments slightly so he hasn’t trained as of yet.”

Top scorer Powell has netted seven goals in 19 appearances for Blues this season.
