FORMER Southend United loanee Marcus Dackers has joined Woking on loan for the rest of the season.
Dackers scored three goals in six games for the Shrimpers earlier on in the season but was unable to extend his loan spell from Salford City due to Blues’ transfer embargo.
Woking have now taken full advantage and boss Darren Sarll acted after being impressed by Dackers during his spell with Southend.
Sarll told the club’s website: “Marcus is a player that left a real impression when we played Southend.
"He is unique in the way that, as a young player, he physically tested our experienced back four.
"These discussions have been going on for a few months now, and we are delighted to now have a set of attributes that means we can divert from our normal way of playing."
Woking are currently four in the National League table, two places and 11 points above Blues.
