SOUTHEND United striker Chris Wreh was forced to miss Saturday's win against Darlington due to a problem with his knee.
Wreh had been named in every matchday squad this season prior to this afternoon's FA Trophy tie at Roots Hall.
But Blues boss Kevin Maher was unable to call upon the forward for the fourth round clash.
"It's a bit of tendonitis in his knees which has been too sore," explained Maher.
"He’s had a bit of a rest."
