SOUTHEND United fans will stage another protest ahead of Saturday’s clash with York City at Roots Hall.
Shrimpers supporters continue to fear for the future of their club who are due back in court at the start of March following a winding up petition from HMRC.
Players and staff remain unpaid for January while some staff members are also still waiting for their December wages.
And supporters will now be holding a protest for the second match in succession, including Tom Gibson who remains heartbroken by what is happening at Roots Hall.
“We’re protesting again because the situation is deteriorating by the week at the moment,” said Gibson.
“The treatment of the players and the staff is the main factor for the protest, both being the result of mismanagement of the club by Ron Martin.
“York City fans who may wish to join in a joint show of solidarity against irresponsible owners are more than welcome too.
“It’s all one fight, no matter your colours and families are welcome to join us too.
“We will be leaving the Dickens pub at 2pm and then walk together from there to the ground where the protest will continue.”
