SOUTHEND United boss Kevin Maher will be selecting from a similar squad to Saturday when he takes the Shrimpers to Maidenhead United.
On loan Stoke City goalkeeper Blondy Nna Noukeu will remain between the sticks as Steve Arnold and Collin Andeng Ndi continue to work their way back to full fitness.
But Blues’ demanding fixture schedule could make finding a reserve game for the custodians to feature in quite challenging.
“It’s difficult with Saturday, Tuesday coming up for a while now,” said Maher.
“But Steve and Collin both need to get a certain amount of training before they can play games anyway .
“That will take time until they’re ready so we’ll have to monitor it.
“Steve is still a bit behind, he’s only just got on the grass so after being out so long he’s still not ready.”
Arnold has been out since mid-August with a hip problem while Andeng Ndi has not played since November due to a hamstring injury.
Defender Louis Lomas (groin) and midfielder Dan Mooney (knee) are also out of action.
But the duo joined in with some of today's training session.
“Louis and Dan Mooney participated in a bit of training,” said Maher.
“Hopefully we’ll build them up this week and see where they are at come the end of the week.”
However, striker Chris Wreh has yet to return from a knee injury.
“Chris is still behind a little bit,” added Maher.
