Still waiting to be paid - Southend United boss Kevin Maher and his players have not yet got their wages for January
SOUTHEND United players will head into this afternoon’s FA Trophy tie against York City still waiting for their wages.
The players had been due to pick up their January pay packets at the end of last month.
But, 11 days later, Kevin Maher’s squad are still waiting for their salaries.
Some staff members at Roots Hall are still waiting for their wages for both December and January.
