CANVEY Island moved fifth in the Isthmian Premier League standings after winning 2-1 at Haringey Borough.
Billericay slipped to 11th after losing 2-0 at table-topping Bishop’s Stortford while Bowers & Pitsea lost 4-3 at Wingate & Finchley and sit 18th after conceding four goals in the last eight minutes.

In Isthmian North, 10th placed East Thurrock drew 1-1 at Brentwood Town while bottom of the table Great Wakering Rovers drew 1-1 at home to Basildon United.
Hullbridge Sports saw their match with Tilbury called off due to fog when they were 2-0 down at Lower Road.
