SOUTHEND United midfielder Noor Husin will be sidelined for a ‘period’ of time after suffering an ankle injury.
Husin had to be taken off in the closing stages of Tuesday night’s 1-0 defeat at Boreham Wood.
And Blues boss Kevin Maher will be without the 26-year-old against Aldershot Town this weekend.
"Noor was sore after the game on Tuesday," said Maher.
"It will end up keeping him out for a period but we’re not sure on how long yet.
"We’ve got to let it settle.
"It was quite swollen after the game but it was a bit better today.
"We won’t know the full extent of it until it does settle down a bit more."
Husin had started the last 14 league games for the Shrimpers but will be missing this weekend.
