SOUTHEND United fans have their say on Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat at Dorking Wanderers.
The only positive tonight player wise was Jon Benton who must start next match.
@phillsilver9
Exactly what Maher said. Wrong tactics & shape 1st half and not enough desire to play forwards, everyone was saying it around me we all can see it watching from the stands. Collin did well & Cardwell isolated. Lomas only one willing to push forward to force something to happen.
@SearchTerry
Players were hiding from the ball tonight, especially in centre midfield. Benton was promising and needs to start now onwards. Five at the back needs scrapping.

A new low for me as I work with one of the Dorking players. Luckily, he didn't play tonight but that was still tough to take. Hard to see us getting out of this run sadly.
@Pete_Chatterton
We were absolutely dreadful. Can’t believe I’ve spent all that money on train fare and booze to go down there. Where has the fight gone? Where has the determination gone? Where’s the attack gone? Honestly I feel sorry for everyone else that came, at least it weren’t Halifax
@FlamingIdiot1
Once again ours players had no idea what to do when they actually had the ball. Embarrassing and was really hard to watch, no excuse for our performances lately.
@MobbsLloyd
That was an utter disgrace; no pride or passion just going through the motions. Season can't end soon enough.
@GlennJo49726824
Embarrassing performance, side to side pop it forward and back again.Turn the full back and we go back again. Ridiculous.
@StreeterAdam
Shambles from start to finish. Seemingly no plan and no idea. The players looked lost and clueless. The sooner the fiasco in the board room is sorted and the embargo lifted the better. Desperate for fresh players to change things up but it’s too late for this season.
@Davemallam
Turgid. As soon as they scored you knew it was game over. Where has it all gone wrong?
@EdBeavan
No ideas, no desire. Both sides were poor but we created nothing all game. All bar a few look like they’d rather be anywhere else
@jacobwoods97
Turgid. We need Ron gone ASAP; no aspect of the club can be rebuilt when the foundations are rotten.
@AllAtSeaFanzine
A completely broken and wrecked team, who now give the impression they wish they'd done a Kacper and walked somewhere less toxic with guaranteed wages and an owner who treats people properly.
@Lord_Football
Collin was excellent. Look like we are in holiday mode and afraid to shoot. Performances haven’t been good enough since the wages were paid. Bold line up and it didn’t pay off, sloppy in possession, pathetic goal to concede and outplayed by 20th in the table a poor night indeed.
@dan_mays86
Simply put, that was embarrassing. We were the ones that looked like a “bunch of amateurs". Defensively inept, dominated by Dorking for 90 mins, didn’t look threatening in attack until late on and if we had equalised it would have been totally undeserved. Nowhere near good enough.
