SOUTHEND United fans have their say on Saturday's 2-0 win at Yeovil Town.

Not a classic but a much needed win and clean sheet. Collin outstanding in goal with Miley running the midfield well. Also good to get two strikers scoring a goal. Now need to finish the season strongly and build momentum for the next campaign!

@Strutty27

First half was quite scrappy, I’d say we were marginally the better team. Second half we were very professional, fair play to Collin for the strong performance especially with the pillocks behind him. Red card was soft but sealed the game. Taylor and Miley ran the midfield.

@euniesufc

Much better, a battling performance, and on the balance of play, deserved to come away with the win Collin made some good saves and a couple of nice finishes for the goals just the reaction that was needed!

@steveg671

Solid performance, played the right players, and made the right subs, team seemed like they were playing for the shirt today, and playing for each other.

Proper away performance solid at the back and took our chances and stop the rot but a professional performance

@HBesseant

Just the reply we needed to this month's dross. It wasn’t perfect, and I fear we would have folded over to a better side, but take the win and hope it marks an upturn in fortunes. Wish Fisher well with what looked like a horrible injury.

@samtheshrimp18

After a very frustrating and disappointing last month or so full of defeats. Whilst unspectacular, a very professional performance with unusually for us, two clinical finishes. Ndi and Taylor outstanding and a great feeling to finally get a win! Good to see King Kev smiling again!

@tommyharris57

It wasn’t pretty at times but they stuck to their tasks. Murphy’s goal was superb. Felt like they were playing for the shirt today.

@TrenamanMartin

Another man of the match performance from Collin under difficult circumstances. His saves kept us in the game at vital times and built the foundations for the win. The kid has a great future ahead of him, hopefully with us.

@djmikejolly

Someone e-mailed me and said was it an April fool!

@YeattsMatthew

We were clearly the better footballing side and at last some of the decisions went our way along with Hyde and Murphy having their shooting boots on.
