RHYS Murphy scored with his first touch of the game to seal what the striker believes was an important victory at Yeovil Town.
Murphy volleyed home against his former team just seconds after coming off the bench.
And the fit-again forward, who has struggled with injuries this term, is now eyeing up a strong end to the season for both himself and the Shrimpers.
“Unfortunately we’ve been on a bit of a bad run so it was really important to get the win today and hopefully we can have a strong end to the season now,” Murphy told BT Sport.
“For me personally it’s been a nightmare to be honest and really frustrating.
“Nobody wants to be injured, you want to be playing football but I want to finish strongly as well.

Murphy certainly finished well against Yeovil but he admitted he felt fortunate to score.
“I got lucky,” said Murphy.
“It fell to me at the right place at the right time and thankfully it went in.
“We’ll look to build on this now.
“We’ll go and try tp win every game we’ve got left and see what happens.”
