PG Site Services say they are to stop sponsoring Southend United.

The Kent based company were confirmed as the club’s front of shirt sponsor last summer when a three year deal was announced.

But PG Site Services took to Twitter on Friday evening to confirm they will be stepping away from the Shrimpers.

They tweeted: “It is with great regret that we have to announce due to a breakdown of our relationship with the current owner RM and his conduct we are unable to continue as main sponsor next season.

“We truly wish the club the best of luck in the future and hope it finds a good buyer.”

PG Site Services said back in September they would be withdrawing their support of the club before it was announced the partnership would be remaining in place.

PG Site Services loaned the club an additional £40,000 in November but in February they threatened legal action against the club and complained at 'being kept in the dark.'
