SOUTHEND United have rejected an offer from Exeter City for Harry Cardwell.
The Shrimpers striker has started the season in fine form, scoring four goals in six games.
And that has attracted a firm offer from the Grecians who are currently second in League One.
However, Blues are not keen on selling on the 26-year-old and would be unable to replace him if he did move on due to the transfer embargo they have been in since last September.
