WESTCLIFF Rugby Club secured their first victory since April 2022 on Saturday, beating Bedford Athletic 55-32 at the Gables.
The impressive victory moved Westcliff off the bottom of the table and up to 11th in the Regional One South East standings.
Rochford Hundred moved up to second after beating Hertford 47-40 at Magnolia Road.
In Regional Two Anglia, Southend Saxons stayed third after winning 43-24 at Saffron Walden.
In Counties Two Essex (South) table-topping Basildon won 103-15 at Barking while second placed Canvey Island beat Billericay 36-8.
