SOUTHEND United goalkeeper Collin Andeng Ndi will be sidelined for a 'few weeks' with an ankle injury.

Andeng Ndi has missed the last three games with the injury he sustained during the Shrimpers' 3-0 defeat at York City earlier this month.

And Blues boss Kevin Maher does not expect the shot-stopper to back any time soon.

"Collin is going to be a few weeks with his ankle after what the scans showed," said Maher.

"It’s one of the ligaments in his ankle which is disappointing."

Andeng Ndi has missed the last three games and has been replaced between the sticks by David Martin.
