SOUTHEND United have completed the signing of defender Brooklyn Kabongolo on a non-contract basis.
The 20-year-old centre-back has been training with Blues for the past few weeks and will go straight into the squad for this afternoon's match at Rochdale.
Speaking last week, Shrimpers boss Kevin Maher said “He’s someone we’ve had our eye on and we think there’s a lot of potential there.
“He’s someone we’d love to get in and work with and mould into how we want him."
