SOUTHEND United fans have their say on Saturday's 2-0 win at Woking.
A fantastic result and a great team performance. Nick Hayes had a great debut in goal, looking very assured, and Daniel Kanu looks promising as well. Coker, Taylor and Miley also standouts for me but all played well. This team keeps getting better and better. Onwards and upwards.

Harry Taylor at the back was brilliant once again. Won every header. Thought Woking were very disappointing compared to last season
@LawrenceBenge
How those players are able to play to that level of intensity every few days is astonishing. To come to Woking and win comfortably was very unexpected and hugely impressive. Great end to a brilliant week.

The turn around since York has been remarkable but not surprising with the management and our group of players
@ShrimpersTalk
Great performance all players gave it their all. At no point in the game did I not think we would win. Harry Cardwell Is a goal machine 11 goals in 15 games is pretty good going. Well done alll up to 19th
@Essexren
All players played well but a special mention must go to Nick Hayes called up late into the squad who looked assured and kept a clean sheet on his Shrimpers debut.
@phillsilver9
Really professional job from start to finish. Restricted Woking to half chances and I think the first real save Blues' keeper had to make was in added time. In the end we probably should have won by more but happy with the two we got.

A clean sheet for the new keeper, another 3 points, and a big psychological boost of getting out of the bottom 4. After so many dark days, it really feels like a feel good factor is kicking in. Can’t wait to see what happens when the embargo is fully lifted.

2-0 flattered Woking. We were superb today. Dominated the game from start to finish. The feel good factor is back at Southend
@yankeeyk
A really solid performance all over the pitch. Could have easily won by more. Both debutants did well. Kanu looks very lively and happy to get stuck in.
@Smudgedann
At last it’s starting to feel like we’ve finally turned the corner, thanks to the management, the players and the fans. The only way is up! We only have a few players but most are of top quality. Solid performance and a well deserved win.The nightmares are turning to dreams now.

To be out of the bottom for by end of September following a 10 point deduction is an amazing achievement.
