BRADLEY Stevenson is determined to fire Billericay Town into the first round of the FA Cup.

Town host Sheppey United in a fourth qualifying round clash at New Lodge tomorrow.

And Stevenson is eager to triumph.

“The FA Cup is very special,” said Stevenson.

“It’s a chance to face EFL opposition and it also generates money for the club so it’s a big game tomorrow .”

Billericay will head into this weekend’s fourth round qualifying tie sitting fourth in the Isthmian Premier League while Sheppey United are 15th in the Isthmian South East Division.

But Stevenson knows the visitors will be fired up to win.

“I know Sheppey very well and I know a few faces there too,” said Stevenson.

“I know they will be in full force putting up a fight to progress so very important we match what they have.”

However, Billericay will head into the game on a high after beating Dulwich Hamlet 3-0 on Tuesday night, in a game which saw Stevenson bag a brace.

“I know how much the Billericay fans wanted to win so getting that win for them pleased a lot of them I can imagine,” said Stevenson.

“For me to contribute in that win is pleasing.

“I love the club and I want to keep scoring and assisting as much as I can .

It’s been a very good start to the season on a team level and personally too so it would be great to keep that going with a win in the cup.”
