SOUTHEND United midfielder Cav Miley will have further checks on a thigh injury on Monday.
Miley missed Saturday’s FA Cup defeat at Yeovil Town after picking up the problem against Woking last weekend.
And Blues boss Kevin Maher has admitted Miley might need a scan if there is no sign of improvement.
“It’s his quad and it’s not settled down,” said Maher.
“There’s still bruising so we’ll have a look on Monday and see if he needs a scan.”
Fellow midfielder Dan Mooney was forced in the first half against Yeovil.
And Maher revealed Mooney had been unwell in the build up to the game.
“He had a bad stomach before the game and we had to get him off, said Maher.
“But he’s had a knock as well and he’s hardly trained."
