JUSTIN Rees will watch Southend United for the first time at Roots Hall this weekend.
The Australian and his consortium have agreed terms to buy the Shrimpers and hope to have the deal rubber-stamped in November.
But, having previously watched Blues live twice on the road this season, Rees is now relishing attending his first home game as Kevin Maher's side take on Solihull Moors.
"I've watched games this season in Holland, Spain, Sicily and Germany plus I've been there in person at Dagenham and Bromley and I'm really looking forward to making my Roots Hall debut," said Rees.
"It's going to be great to be at the ground and sample the atmosphere there."
Rees will be watching the game alongside members of the consortium.
>Justin Rees will also be speaking on a 24 hour live-stream taking place to raise money for SECE Mind this weekend.
