THERE were defeats for both Rochford Hundred and Westcliff in Regional One South East on Saturday.
Bottom of the table Westcliff suffered a 32-19 loss at relegation rivals Hertford while Rochford lost 46-10 at league leaders Colchester and are now second from bottom in the standings.

In Regional Two Anglia, Southend Saxons stayed top of the table with a 27-17 win at home to Harlow.
In Counties Two Essex (South), leaders Basildon suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 21-19 at second-placed Old Brentwoods.
Fourth placed Canvey Island lost 33-18 at Kings Cross Steelers but it was a better afternoon for fifth placed Billericay who triumphed 36-14 at Millwall.
