PROSPECTIVE new Southend United owner Justin Rees joined Shrimpers legend Spencer Prior in celebrating Saturday’s memorable win against Chesterfield.
Blues brushed aside a number off-field issues and having just 13 players to beat the league-leaders 2-1 at Roots Hall.
And, with the match being shown live on TNT Sports, Rees was able to watch the game alongside Shrimpers supporters and Prior at the Cheers Bar in Sydney.
Prior won four promotions during two spells with his home-town club and moved to Australia shortly after retiring in 2007.
