SOUTHEND United have been listed to appear in court on Tuesday - but it is understood the case has been adjourned by mutual agreement.

The Shrimpers will pay nPower sums owing once the sale of the club has been completed.

A club spokesman said: “Our electricity provider, nPower have been very supportive and we continue to work with them collaboratively.

"A payment is due to them once the sale goes through.

"A hearing was listed prematurely and the parties have agreed to an adjournment.”
