BOWERS & Pitsea dug deep to secure a 2-1 win at Walhamstow.
Matt Price scored both goals as Bowers secured a third win in succession.
And defender Luke Reeve was pleased to secure all three points.
“It was a really difficult game,” said Reeve.
“The game was a proper battle and I think we really stood up to the fight that Walthamstow gave us.
“But the win was particularly pleasing because we really had to dig in second half and to get the three points was huge.”
Bowers remain fifth in the Isthmian North standings.
And Reeve feels things are really starting to move in the right direction for James Collins’ side.
“Confidence is really growing within the group and we are beginning to become more consistent which is key,” said Reeve.
“I think now we are in the play offs we have to be setting that as our minimum goal and I don’t see why we can’t challenge right at the top of the league.”
Bowers will now be looking to keep the good run of results going when they host Wroxham this weekend.
But Reeve is not too sure what to expect.
“I don’t know too much about Wroxham and what to expect from them,” said the former Southend United defender.
“They’ve had some up and down results but if we’re on our game then I don’t think there’s many teams better than us.”
