DANIEL Bentley kept his first clean sheet in the Premier League to help Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Burnley 1-0.

The former Southend United shot-stopper made a fine double save to ensure victory for Wolves on Tuesday night.

And Bentley was thrilled to keep out the opposition.

“I’m delighted,” Bentley told Wolves’ official website.

“I kept so many minutes with a clean sheet on Saturday, so it was nice to follow it up today and get my first ‘official’ clean sheet.

“I’m really pleased and the fact I contributed to the team in a positive way and helped us get the three points, that’s the most pleasing thing for me.”

The former Bromfords School pupil came off the bench for Wolves in the 23rd minute of Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Arsenal after the Gunners had already scored both of their goals.
