WHITE Ensign were beaten 3-2 by Walsham Le Willows in the third round of the FA Vase on Saturday.
Walsham Le Willows surged into a two goal lead before an own goal saw Ensign get back into the game.
However, the hosts made it 3-1 before Mechack Asuka netted a late consolation for the visitors.
Great Wakering Rovers saw their match at Fakenham Town in the FA Vase postponed to a waterlogged pitch and the wet weather caused several other matches to also be called off.
In the Isthmian Premier Division, Canvey Island’s match at home to Folkestone Invicta, Concord Rangers’ game with Cheshunt at the Aspect Arena and Hashtag United’s clash at Potters Bar Town were all postponed.
In Isthmian North, fourth placed Basildon United drew 1-1 at Heybridge Swifts.
Ben Allen put Basildon in front after just nine minutes but Steve Tilson’s side bagged an injury time leveller with Kane Munday on target.
Elsewhere Bowers & Pitsea went third after a 3-2 win against Wroxham at the Len Salmon Stadium.
Tosan Popo fired Bowers into a first half lead before Wroxham fought back to lead 2-1.
However, Benas Vaivada equalised in the 72nd minute before Matt Price bagged a late winner.
