BOWERS & Pitsea bagged an exciting 2-1 win against Felixstowe & Walton United at the Len Salmon Stadium.

TQ Addy was sent off for Bowers in the 41st minute when the game was still goalless.

But, despite going down to 10 men, the hosts broke the deadlock at the start of the second half with Matt Price on target.

Billy Holland equalised for Felixstowe in the 55th minute before he was sent off after being shown a second yellow card in the 69th minute.

And Bowers took full advantage with Ben Williamson hitting the back of the net in the 90th minute.

Bowers remain third in Isthmian North but are now level on points with second placed Felixstowe.

Basildon United are fourth after beating Brightlingsea Regent 2-1 at the TLM Environmental Stadium.

Goals from Callum Fitzer and Bradley Warner put the Bees two goals ahead before the visitors netted a late consolation through Derek Asamoah.

In the Isthmian Premier Division, Billericay Town stayed fifth in the standings after a 1-0 win at Whitehawk.

Frankie Merrifield bagged the only goal of the game midway through the first half.

Hashtag United moved sixth, level on points with Billericay, after winning 3-1 at Folkestone Invicta.

Sakariya Hassan fired the Tags in front after just four minutes before Thomas Derry equalised for the hosts.

But Hashtag made sure of the win late on with Pedro Carvalho and Luke May-Parrott both on target.

Elsewhere, Canvey Island and Concord Rangers both picked up a point.

Canvey, who are 13th, drew 1-1 at 12th placed Bognor Regis Town.

Jamie Salmon fired the Gulls in front in the 57th minute but the hosts equalised six minutes from time with Isaac Olaniyan hitting the back of the net.

Bottom of the table Concord also suffered late frustration in their 3-3 draw at home to Hastings United.

A brace from Harrison Day and an own goal from Tommy Penfold put the Beach Boys 3-1 in front but Hastings scored twice in the final four minutes to secure a share of the spoils.

In the Essex Senior League, Great Wakering Rovers moved fifth in the table after recording an emphatic 8-0 win at Ilford on Friday night.
