SOUTHEND United striker Callum Powell is continuing his comeback from a knee injury by training at the national football centre at St George’s Park.
Powell has been sidelined since September.
And Blues boss Kevin Maher confirmed the forward was now spending time away from Boots & Laces in a bid to speed up his recovery.
Maher said “He’s spending some time up at St George’s so he can get some intensive work which will hopefully push him along.”
Powell had scored twice in 11 games this season before suffering the injury at Aldershot Town.
Powell has been out with the injury since September
