BRADLEY Sach helped Canvey Island secure what he felt was a “massive three points” against Folkestone Invicta.
Sach bagged the Gulls’ opener in their 2-1 victory at the Movie Starr Stadium.
And the striker thought it was a crucial victory.

“It was a massive win for us,” said Sach.
“We didn’t have the best of times over Christmas and we had a few injuries but boys are coming back now.
“It’s a good win for us in really windy conditions which made it tough.
“But we’ve won the last two now and want to keep it going.”
Sach fired the Gulls in front after 28 minutes before the visitors equalised on the stroke of half-time with Jake Goodman on target.
However, Canvey battled again after the break and bagged what proved to be the winning goal in the 67th minute with Charlie Edwards hitting the back of the net to send Brad Wellmen’s side 11th in the Isthmian Premier Division standings.
The Gulls now face a tough task at second placed Chatham Town this weekend but Sach is looking forward to the contest.
“They’re flying but we tend to do well against the big boys,” said Sach.
“It’s not always a bad thing being an underdog.”
